It was after the enforcement of this act that the label changed from domestic wine to Japanese wine. After this, Japan followed international regulations.
Now, any wine that is labeled as Japanese wine must reveal that the grapes have been harvested and fermented in Japan.
Apart from this, the label also shows the year when the grapes were harvested and the region. You will also find the variety of grapes that were used to produce the wine.
